How NORETIX Works
The homepage shows the simple version. This page explains the public process, what information is allowed in, and how forward evidence is measured.
What we observe
NORETIX reviews the primary U.S. common-equity universe on a daily basis. Non-common-equity instruments are excluded by the data contract before the market is evaluated.
How an observation is created
A deterministic daily process evaluates the market. When a previously inactive structure meets the frozen public contract, one candidate observation is created and timestamped. The observation is not rewritten later with future information.
What research is allowed to use
Research reconstructs the public information that was available by the observation cutoff. Later news and later price action are not folded back into the original research snapshot.
How public context is reconstructed
The research layer searches for evidence that can plausibly explain the move and for evidence that argues against continuation. It does not force a catalyst when the public record does not support one.
How forward outcomes are measured
The measurement reference is the next official U.S. regular-session open after the observation. Outcomes are evaluated on fixed horizons: 1 / 3 / 5 / 10 / 20 / 40 / 60 sessions.
Price change from the fixed reference.
Maximum favorable excursion after the reference.
Maximum adverse excursion after the reference.
Performance relative to SPY over the same horizon.
What this is not
The current public model does not publish a personalized buy or sell instruction, target price, modeled trade exit, or winner/loser label. The research is market analysis, not individualized investment advice.
How the record stays auditable
Observation, research snapshot, sources, and later outcome measurement remain separate. That separation prevents future information from changing what was originally published.
Data sources and fallbacks
Public web research is the primary research path. Additional data providers are used only when the public evidence is insufficient under the research contract. Provider choice does not change the frozen observation itself.
Limitations
A systematic process can be consistent and still fail to produce useful predictive information. The forward record exists to measure that question rather than assume the answer.
